Accredited IE Registrars are companies, organisations or individuals who have demonstrated the knowledge, experience and the expertise in managing .ie domains as agents of you, the registrant.
Registrars can guide you through the application process, they will provide you with the necessary nameserver information needed for application and they will pay the IEDR for your .ie domain as your billing agent when the renewal date arrives.
Therefore, the IEDR recommends that you make appropriate enquiries, and having made your Registrar selection, that you direct your .ie domain application through an accredited IE Registrar. However if you wish to make the application directly through ourselves we will be very happy to oblige you.
Accredited Registrars who currently manage more than 500 .ie domains are listed in Table A below. Accredited Registrars who manage less than 500 domains are listed in Table B below. If you wish to transfer between Registrars at any time in the future, for any reason, please follow our Transfer Billing Contact procedure. The IEDR exercises no preference in their positioning within each table; each Registrar is randomly assigned a position on the list within their table, and as you refresh your browser, the position of the Registrars will be randomly changed.
