Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is the non-profit corporation formed to assume responsibility for the IP address space allocation, protocol parameter assignment, domain name system management and root server system management for the Internet.
