New - The Deposit Account.

Friday, 4th July, 2008. The IEDR would like to announce a new payment from deposit account option for the Reseller console. After lodging funds with the IEDR by cheque or credit transfer, a Reseller can view their current deposit balance via the statistics displayed at the top of the page, and to pay for a domain using their deposit account funds. Resellers can choose to pay for a domain in MSD, for new registrations, renewals, future renewals, transfers and transfers in advance. Email confirmations will be sent when money is lodged to, or when domains are paid for using their deposit account.

This simplifies the renewal and reactivation of a domain further. With this new feature, credit card payments are not mandatory for MSD reactivations.
