LetsHost Wins IE Domain Registry’s Annual Achievement Award.

Tuesday, 27th May, 2008. The IE Domain Registry (IEDR) has awarded its Annual Achievement Award to LetsHost, one of Ireland’s leading domain registry and web hosting companies. The Annual Award, comprising a €5,000 prize and a perpetual trophy recognises .ie resellers who have made the most significant contribution to the growth and development of .ie registrations in the past year. The award was presented to LetsHost by Mr. Eamon Ryan T.D., Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural resources.

In winning the 2008 award, LetsHost beat off very strong competition from Hosting365 (a winner of the Award on two previous occasions). LetsHost consistently demonstrated a commitment to the .ie brand and the .ie namespace, and consistently submitted high-quality applications for new registrations. Its investments in systems, including the IEDR’s API, and in customer service is a quantifiable demonstration of that commitment.

Speaking at the presentation of the Award, Mr David Curtin, Chief Executive of the IEDR, said:“We have just passed a significant milestone for the IEDR with the recent registration of our 100,000th .ie domain. Resellers have made a significant contribution to achieving this landmark and ensuring that .ie remains the market-leading choice of domain in Ireland. The Annual Achievement Award is an important way for the IEDR to recognise the efforts of our reseller community and LetsHost were presented with this year’s award for consistently demonstrating a commitment to the .ie brand and the .ie namespace.”
